Granite is a natural stone known by its indestructible and high resistance to wearing away, to pressure and to the environmental pollution, as well as by its always appreciated aesthetics.

Besides that, granite can also resist to the seasonal cycles (freezing and melting), as to the actions brought by salt and other chemical products used during the removal of ice and snow.

Thanks to these characteristics, we have been seeing an increase in the use of granite by outdoor architecture, mainly for the construction of cobbled streets in historic city centres, pedestrian precincts and some other places in contact with nature.
